Q: HOW DO YOU SOLVE THE MYSTERY? A: Guests who 'win' are the ones who observe behavior, decipher clues, and question suspects with a discriminating mind. Logic is required, and a sense of adventure. A great sense of humor helps, too! Q: DO YOU HAVE TO "ACT" OR PLAY A PART? A: Our shows are interactive -- but guests do NOT play parts in a play. The killer and improvisational suspects are played by highly-skilled, trained actors. This keeps the quality of the acting on a professional level. Q: WHAT IF YOU'RE SHY? OR WHAT IF YOU WANT TO BE EXTROVERTED AND "HAMMY"? A: Our events are designed to allow all types of personalities to enjoy themselves. For example, shy, or easily embarrassed guests can have a wonderful time remaining seated at their table. On the other hand, some guests like to attract attention to themselves by dressing suspiciously, using aliases and fooling other guests into thinking they're the murderer. That's OK with us. It adds to the fun. Competitive participants will go so far as to mercilessly grill our suspects (actors), while gathering evidence, taking notes, etc. Q: IS IT ON A STAGE? HOW IS AUDIENCE SEATING ARRANGED? A: There is no stage and you are not "an audience member" watching a play in silence. You are a participant actively involved in an investigation. Suspects surround you. Are you seated next to the murderer? Every seat is a great seat! Q: IS THE MURDER MYSTERY BEFORE OR AFTER THE DINNER? WHEN DOES THE ACTUAL MYSTERY PRESENTATION BEGIN AND END? A: The event begins the moment you check in for the 4:00 reception and lasts throughout dinner and dessert. (Watch your back!) Q: IS IT GORY OR SCARY? DO YOU SEE A GRISLY MURDER COMMITTED IN FRONT OF YOU? A: Death scenes are as realistic as good taste will allow. Q: WHAT IS IT RATED? A: Guests need to be aware that there mayl be loud gunshots, screaming, knifings acted out, and lighting blackouts. For children (under 8 or 10), please get a baby sitter. The language is NOT R-rated... ever! You'll never hear the "F" word or the Seven Words you can't say on television! Some humor may suggest very mild innuendo. More naughty than lewd. Nothing graphic. Don't expect a squeaky clean "Disney" show, but actors do stay clear of vulgarity and offensive material. Shows are targeted as 'PG-13'.
